Myth 1 – Modular construction is ideal only for building temporary structures

Temporary modular buildings are highly resourceful and useful; they serve a variety of purposes. And such solutions are used in almost every industry. They are also used for providing housing to people affected by natural disasters.

Myth 3 – Modular buildings are of inferior quality and do not last long

One of the significant differences between modular construction and the traditional on-site building method is that, while modular construction takes place inside a factory under a controlled environment, construction is done following strict industrial guidelines, using the best quality industrial-standard building materials.


Also, modular constructions use identical materials that are used in traditional building methods and the construction is done in compliance with the local and national building codes. So, the common perception that modular buildings are of inferior quality is baseless, and there is no truth to it.


Myth 4 – Modular buildings are aesthetically unappealing

Many people believe that modular construction hinders the creative design of the building.     I understand that the modular construction mentioned is that of steel frame and concrete floors. My feeling is that modular construction totally in concrete would have more flexibility and could better adapt to architectural Considerations.
